~ Fostering ~
We have lovely female puppy available as apart of our foster program, or possibly to an appropriate, loving companion home.
Our foster program allows us to keep dogs as apart of our breeding program, while keeping a limited number of dogs in our home who live full time with us. This not only allows each and every dog living with us the utmost time and attention, but let’s our foster dogs be apart of a family home with plenty of attention to themselves loved as their families primary companion or with another furry housemate or two.
With our foster program, the family would receive a puppy free of charge. The puppy would live primarily with their foster home as their own beloved pet, and the foster home would cover the daily expenses of this dog which would include things such as routine veterinary care, food expenses, etc...
We would simply ask that you keep the dog intact (not spayed), and we would get to “borrow” her for short periods of time occasionally to work towards her Championship title, then once she reaches appropriate age (2+ years) she would come back to us to have puppies and continue future generations - when here for puppies she would be with us for a maximum of 8 weeks to raise her litter.
All expenses, transport and effort regarding showing and breeding shall be ours here at Shadowland. Once she has been retired from the show ring and our breeding program, she would live full time with her foster “aka forever” family and I would cover the expense of getting her spayed.
With our foster program it allows us to keep dogs as an invaluable part of our breeding program, and our foster homes receive a show quality puppy who will be championed and health tested (by us) free of charge.
